WEST SENECA, NY – The Buffalo State women's hockey team returned to the ice this afternoon, notching a dominant 7-0 victory over Hilbert College.

- Madi Digges (Madison, AL/St. Louis Blues AAA) led the Bengals with two goals on the afternoon.
- Alexa Groh (Elma, NY/Niagara Jr. Purple Eagles), Emma Ramseier (Oak Creek, WI/Milwaukee Jr. Admirals), Gabby McCrory (Buffalo, NY/Cazenovia Chiefs), Angelina Cruzal (Campbell, CA/San Jose Jr. Sharks), and Lilli Adimey (Buffalo, NY/Buffalo Bisons) all scored a goal for the Bengals.
- Rylee Garrow (Akwesasne, NY/St. Lawrence Steel) led Buffalo State with three assists.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Buffalo State got the scoring started after Digges found the back of the net with the Bengals shorthanded.
- Groh would give the Bengals a second goal just before the end of the first period.
- In the second period, Buffalo State found the net again and they added three more goals over the final six minutes of the period.
- Digges would get her second goal on a power play opportunity while Adimey secured the Bengals win with her goal in the final minute.
- Jessica Auge (Laingsburg, MI/Honeybaked Detroit) tallied seven saves to secure her second shutout of the year.
FOR THE FOES
- Jewely Monford registered 36 saves for the Hawks.
