BUFFALO, N.Y— Soleil Archambeault (London, ON/Medway) recorded her second shutout in her second collegiate start to backstop Buffalo State to a 2-0 victory over the host Spartans in the consolation game of the Castleton Invitational.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Archambeault needed to make just 13 saves, including only three in the final period to extend her shutout streak to 129 minutes and 48 seconds to open her career.
• Angelina Cruzal (Campbell, CA/Westmont) and Lila Toczek (Pendleton, NY/Starpoint) had a goal and an assist apiece, and Cheyenne Matson (Wasilla, AK/Matsu Career & Tech) had a pair of assists in the win.
• Cruzal scored her first goal of the season with fiver minutes remaining in the second period to give the Bengals the lead, and Toczek sealed the win with her fourth of the season with just over three minutes left in regulation.
• The Bengals outshot the Spartans 30-13.
