BUFFALO, N.Y - Buffalo State fired 30 shots on goal but could not break through and visiting Chatham scored a goal in each period to skate to a 3-0 victory tonight in a non-conference contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Chatham opened the scoring with a power-play tally in the first period and pushed the lead to 2-0 by the end of the second despite being outshot 23-16 through 40 minutes.
- The Cougars put the game out of reach with a second power-play goal midway through the third period.
- Chatham finished 2 for 2 on the power play, while the Bengals were 0 for 4.
- Buffalo State finished with a 30-22 edge in shots on goal.
- Bri Gawronski (Dunkirk, NY/Mt. Mercy) made 18 saves for Buffalo State.
FOR THE FOES
- Danielle Bos, Fiona Danahy and Kerry Carr all scored for Chatham.
